The relationship between craft and circuit/ digital work is a focus of this prototype. The elaborate circuit structure, housed in the wooden box, performs the simple act of completing a circuit switch for a Cervo motor that is attached to a head that 'thumps' against the side of the box. The process of Washi, Japanese paper making, informed the process of combining a complex system within a simple structure.
