Uncle O’s Kitchen is a new and upcoming ristorante based in Dubai, UAE. Inspired by 80s Northern Italy, Uncle O’s offers a variety of typical dishes such as pizza napoletana, focaccia, torta di fromaggio, among others.
The graphic concept was inspired by old retro film and Northern Italian roots with a vibrant summer feel. The use of colors has been inspired by the iconic shots of orange/peach trees in a summery day. A san-serif typeface, inspired by the 19th century, was used for the logo alongside with other classical type variations. The illustrative emblem displays a hand, styled as a cartoon, holding a dough roll in a wooden tray.
