The Brutalism poster aimed to engage in the history of typography and typographic practice while applying critical and analytical skills to inform and develop a professional approach towards typography design. Brutalism was introduced into graphic design to create visual tension within the design. It brings a raw and unfinished design to make it stand out and eye-catching. Brutalism all contains mismatched colours, an unfinished look, and non-traditional layouts. All these components represent the styles I wish to create within my design career as they break the rules of design and are changing how the design world functions.
