Facsimile is my own visual development project created for the University of Hertfordshire in 2022, and features character, environment, and prop designs inspired by eras in history and real world cursed objects.
It's a story of a protagonist haunted by a past he cannot remember, while trying to survive in a world that he can't help but feel an undeniable feeling of falseness about it.
The protagonist, the Clockmaker, is inspired by the Graves Supercomplication Pocket Watch (1898) and clothing from the era of the late 1800's.
"The work he does is delicate and wonderous, however the man himself is anything but. His face speaks of anguish and unrest of days past..."
