Project not affiliated with Peugeot, spare time fan project
A reimagining of the iconic Peugeot Carbolite 103 from the 1980s. With its recognizable trapezoidal frame and funky colors, I've always loved riding this vintage French bike. I use it for everything: from commuting to weekend riding over cafe racing. Over time I began to wonder what a modern interpretation of this bike could look like, with smart modular functions and even pedal assist. I present to you a modern take on the classic: my Peugeot 103.

Steel frame: just like the original, the bike features a steel frame blending classic tubular profiles with bended sheet metal

Pedal assist: the bike offers a swappable battery option that fits into the bottle cage and connects through integrated contacts.

Connectivity: Lighting and pedal assistance are controlled via an app on your smartphone. Tap the screen twice to activate the electronic bell. The bike has an integrated GPS tracker in the right handlebar. This module is powered by its own battery, which is stacked in the steering profile.

Modularity: under the top tube is a rail to which you can attach different modules, such as a bicycle lock or a top tube bag.

Integrated rear light: just like on a moped, it's always on and indicates when you are braking.

Classic liveries: based on the classic from 1980, here's the bike in two classic liveries
