Bite the Bullet
The Methodology project was designed to create a piece that would convey a specific meaning/idiom from the composition. For my project, I chose to use the idiom, “bite the bullet.” This idiom is popular to be used when money or value is involved within the piece. To convey the idiom within the project, I conveyed the feeling of an upgrade. I used an incredibly old computer and went the extra step to ruin and destroy it even more. The computer is also shopping on a website for an expensive computer replacement, which emphasizes my idiom even more. It was a unique process and allowed me to be creative with how I wanted to emulate a broken run-down computer. Conveying a meaning or an idiom is a challenging task through art, however, through the Methodologies project I was able to apply my understanding and create a piece that really, “bites the bullet.”
