DISCRIMINATION

“ No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”
Nelson Mandela
Discrimination is the process of choosing, especially between good and less good options.
Discrimination can be on the basis of race, color, country, region, religion, or sex. But always remember, the person who distinguishes people on the basis of the above criteria or in any other way, is small and not the one on whom the insult is showered. Everyone has the right to be treated fairly and respectfully. When someone is discriminated against, it means they are being treated badly.
People discriminate against one person better than another because of age, gender, race, religion, or other protected class of status. Without people, there would be no discrimination, therefore, people are the root causes of discrimination.
I think people discriminate because they think they are superior to some people and in their mind, that person doesn’t deserve to be treated equally. There is discrimination not only between light and dark skin tones but also between caste and religion too.
It comes down to one word…..ignorance. a baby who is never trained to hate or discriminate will never do so. Sadly, they learn to do so by example from their parents and peers. It’s sad that people are still so judgemental about people they don’t know simply because of the way they look, the color of their skin, or their religious or ethnic origins. It’s all ignorant.

Anyone can be discriminated against, including white people. Discrimination is not exclusive to just one race, and neither is it perpetrated by one race, even majorly. Ethnicity itself is just a construct created by people who want to divide us as a way to control us. We are all people who just happen to have different colors of the skin due to generational adaption to our environment.

Discrimination can be damaging even if you haven’t been the target of overt acts of bias. Regardless of your personal experiences, it can be stressful just being a member of a group that is often discriminated against, such as racial minorities or individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender.

Instead of being subjugated by such discrimination, fight back and bring such people back to their places.
