BRIEF: To design a text based poster to advertise an upcoming artist's events. Type and type forms must be the dominant feature of the poster, surrounding the chosen person, obscuring them, outlining them, supporting them, creating them – but overall adding impact to the communication objective of the poster.
The first poster I created focuses on an event which celebrates the life and work of Roald Dahl. Using only type, I created an image of Willy Wonka to represent Roald Dahl. I used Adobe Illustrator to create the text warp effect.
Brief extension: To create a free gift for guests of the event.
As part of the event, I created the packaging for 2 free promotional chocolate bars, to be given to guests attending the event
Using a Photoshop method, I created another type poster advertising an event with Greta Thunberg.
Using a similar Photoshop method, I created another type poster advertising an event with the creators of Batman and The Joker.
