Really though, what does make flowers grow?. Some say s*** does, I say patience does. This work contains some irony in it. The letters spell out 'Patience' however they are thrown onto the canvas kind of dispersedly, which makes me think of impatience and hurry. Not to mention our character who is frantically running around the 2000x2000 digital canvas, kind of deliriously. Microcosm of the work might be impatient, however the macro scale shows us patience. He's following his path, doing his work, planting flowers on his yard, stepping on the letters, jumping off them, climbing ladders, stairs, sliding through a tube to do it all over again. The only patient aspect of the microcosm in this work is that there is a pocket watch hanging off the letter P. Which usually stands for 'park' or 'pause'. You push 'P' to park your car so, go figure. The letters on the watch spell out 'A U S E', which when you put it together with the letter they're hanging off of, "PAUSE". Our character is racing time, patiently. Stuck in a loop. Patiently grabbing the flowers from the letter “I” (stands for himself because = I) planting them in his yard to make something beautiful happen. In other words materializing his ideas and goals in the real world.
