A joint publication of The Atlantic and National Journal, The Next Economy's design blended elements from the two contributing publications to achieve a familiar look for both sets of readers. The project involved start-up design, followed by design and art direction of quarterly issues. Topic issues focused on demographic shifts, the new generation, geography, manufacturing, debt, gender, social media and more.
