Uncanny Valley
Uncanny Valley is a memoir by Anna Wiener following her time working in Silicon Valley. Just like the concept of an uncanny valley, I wanted to book cover to feel beautiful and positive upon first glance with a strange, sinister twist. The people are just happily jumping feet first into the unknown without much thought or hesitancy. It is exactly that toxic optimism followed by disillusionment that I found to be so relatable in this.
