Ha Bun Shu / Hamonshū artwork always got my back on my work for the past 2021 to 2022
I finally can choose my official color palette as my identity for my fashion illustration.
Mori Yuzan such a great artist, I have been so deeply touched by his prints that I started using them as inspiration for my fashion illustration.
In 1903, Mori Yuzan – a little known Japanese artist from Kyoto has created a 3 volume book titled ‘Hamonshū’. The books featured various traditional Japanese wave designs and were created to serve as inspiration for local craftsmen.
This 115-year-old Japanese wave design book that is made to inspire craftsmen is still inspiring artists until today
