ARTIST IDENTITY
En este proyecto tuvimos que crear la identidad de un artista. Me tocó Jenny Holzer. Una artista conceptual que interviene los espacios públicos con frases y palabras para crear conciencia. Aparte de ser artista también cumple un rol activista. En sus trabajos trata los temas que usualmente son tabú (el maltrato a las mujeres, manipulación, abuso de poder, amor, sexo, la política, la violencia y más).
En sus trabajos suele utilizar la luz como herramienta para darle mas fuerza y profundidad a lo que quiere transmitir.
En este trabajo el objetivo era utilizar las características principales de la artista para crear un logo que la represente. Utilice una tipografía a la que le agregue un poco de iluminación, para representar su impacto en las personas y hacer referencia al uso de la luz que ella utiliza en sus obras.
Luego de crear esta identidad, utilicé mockups para representar mi diseño en distintos objetos.
In this project we had to create the identity of an artist. In my case, Jenny Holzer. A conceptual artist who intervenes in public spaces with words and phrases to create awareness. Apart from being an artist, she also fulfills an activist role. In her works she deals with topics that are usually taboo (mistreatment of women, manipulation, abuse of power, love, sex, politics, violence and more). She also uses light manipulation as a tool, to give more strength to what she wants to convey.I
In this work, the objective was to use the main characteristics of the artist to create an identity that represents her. I used a typeface to which I added a bit of lighting in the corners, to represent her impact on people and reference her use of light in her works.After creating this identity, I used mockups to show my design on different objects and uses
