Relief Paintings

Art for me has never been restricted to just painting but also includes using different materials and working with some kind of relief painting thus giving the effect of 3d on a 2d plain. It also adds to the element of feel and touch for a person.
Both these painting have been done using resin as there material. It gives me a lot of freedom of flow as well to restrict my work. Marble powder along with resin tones have been used in the left one done in the style of a jharoka whereas on the right one its resin with some crystals and resin tones to give an effect of merging.
Another relief painting was done using chalk paints and ceramic powder. Flowers were made using cones made of ceramic powder mixed with color and fevicol to give it a flowy texture but also an abstract effect.
These set of relief paintings was done in different mediums . Starting from using a combination of stone, marble powder, metal and glass in one to ceramic powder in another and lastly polymer clay to show different images.
Persian art is a technique using the tree of life as the basis and then using a combination of marble powder and fevicol to start the layering and creating a 3d effect. Oil paints are used in the paint and rub technique.
