The project "Code to Thing" showcases how code can be transformed into a tangible object. In this project, I used code to create 3D objects and explored the concept of 3D space. I first created a template for the shape using P5js and then used Blender, a 3D software, to generate a printable layout for the 3D object. After that, I handcrafted the physical objects using the printed layout as a guide.
The design of these objects was inspired by two main sources: Fractal light pattern theory and the abstract representation of Gardens by the Bay. The final design incorporated elements from both of these sources to create a unique and visually striking object.
