Envelopes (envelope flaps, specifically) served as the inspiration for these forms. From the plunging, dramatic curves of an envelope containing a formal invitation to the gentle rounded edges of a tiny coin envelope. Created using a combination of found and hand-painted paper.

In an effort to utilize materials with conservation in mind, the edges and sides of paper that had been cut away from larger projects were used as a canvas for the compositions and dictated their mini proportions.
