Retreat patches for the student ministry of Winona Lake Grace Church
Allow me to preface by stating that the foundational elements of the two illustrations were sourced from Adobe Stock, so I cannot claim sole authorship for the entire design. Given my limited expertise in illustration, having a baseline proved to be very valuable.
My contributions involved the development of background details, the typography, patch shape, and the implementation of the color schemes. Collaborating with the youth pastor, I had a wonderful time creating these patches for the students to commemorate the fall and winter retreats.
This project taught me to adapt design solutions to different types of sizes and media. I had never created a design for this type of material before this, so this was a great learning experience.
