When the Tony Ferguson Weightloss brand was launching in the UK through the Boots pharmacy we devised a social media conversation campaign to increase brand awareness.
The Tony Ferguson Weightloss program itself involves an eight week course of diet product and education around healthy eating.
We recognise that losing weight is difficult at the best of times and support is often needed. Our thinking was if you had a buddy to go through the program with you then both people could support each other through personal conversation to overcome and temptation and stay the course.
Hence "The Buddies" was created. We enlisted two women who were about to start on the Tony Fergsuon Weightloss program and we followed their path as each week they recorded a Skype video chat.
These Skype videos were loaded into the Tony Ferguson Weightloss Facebook page to share their personal experiences with others as we saw The Buddies provide encouragement when sometimes succumbing to temptation and congratulations as weight loss goals were met.
