FMP: Glass Layering

Layered Beauty of Glass
I really love these found images, the glass I have displayed here all has something to do with layers or one of my other projects and I look forward to experimenting with glass later on in my FMP.
Ring of fire in glass - would be beautiful in a large fish tank!
Textured surface would probably make this uneven and unsuitable as a coaster, but it provides three lovely tones of blue and could act as a paper weight or even a fruit bowl with slightly raised edges.
These uses for glass bottles really interested me from my previous projects - wish I had thought about this possibilty of porduct myself!
Simple layer of glass to create a holer for napkin, folders, or anything fairly narrow.
These earrings would have been made through different layers of glass - creating an ocean themed pair.
I really like the use of stringers to create this layered bowl; the colours work really well together and it is the kind of product I would buy just to touch and see my house have on a cabinet or display.
The idea of blowing a thin layer of glass slightly interests me, but I know I can't get too excited as I know I wouldn't be able to create anything like this with the facilities we don't have at college.
Almost looking like a hedgehog, I wouldn't want to go in this building!
Beautiful, simple and delicate candle holder, layers of sheet glass and stringers, slumped.
Mosaic effect glass with wild colours and an arrangement to make a distorted sheet of colour.
I really like this candle holder, it's simple and a bit like a crown or water lilly.
