Zakohani (from Ukr. — "закохані", Eng — "in love") is a collection of lamps that includes table lamps, sconces and chandeliers in three colours and sizes.

До колекції "Закохані" входять настільні лампи, бра та торшери різних кольорів та розмірів.

This is my first collection for the new Ukrainian brand clayp. The founder of the brand specializes in ecological construction and develops new organic-mineral materials based on natural components.

The task was to create a bright first collection of modular lamps or lamps from repeating elements.
I have designed two petal elements that can be used individually or in pairs, as well as combined in compositions for chandeliers.

Це моя перша колекція для нового українського бренду clayp. Засновник бренду спеціалізується на екологічному будівництві та розробляє нові органічно-мінеральні матеріали на основі природних компонентів.

Задача була створити яскраву першу колекцію модульних світильників або лампи з повторюваних елементів.
Я розробила два елементи-плюстки, які можна використовувати окремо або в парі, а також комбінувати в композиції для люстр.

Table lamps

There are three types of table lamps in the collection: large with two petals, medium with one large petal and small with a smaller petal.

В колекції є три види настільних ламп: велика з двома пелюстками, середня з одною великою пелюсткою та мала з меншою пелюсткою.

Love story
The name of the collection is not accidental. When I was sketching, I didn't have any conscious romantic thoughts. I was only looking for an element that could become the shape of a lamp. The first to appear was a large petal with a ceiling layer. But she seemed lonely to me, so I painted in front of her, one less. While I was developing drawings and 3D models, I called this lamp "he-and-she", because the combination of these elements was something erotic for me. It was July 2021, and in a month I was supposed to meet my loved one, whom I had not seen for almost a year due to the pandemic. At first, I thought that the two petals of the lamp should always be together. The customers asked me to separate them, although I didn't want to, but I did. Then I realized that I subconsciously miss my beloved so much that I put lamps in pairs. This is how "Zakohani" appeared.

Історія кохання

Колекція має не випадкову назву. Коли я малювала ескізи, я не мала жодних свідомих романтичних думок. Я лише шукала елемент, який міг стати формою лампи. Першою з’явилась велика пелюстка з плафоном шаром. Але вона здавалась мені самотньою, тому я домалювала перед нею, ще одну по-менше. Поки я розробляла креслення та 3д моделі, я називала цю лампу “він-та-вона”, бо в поєднанні цих елементів було щось еротичне для мене. Це був липень 2021 року, а за місяць я мала зустрітись з коханою людиною, з якою не бачилась майже рік через пандемію. Спочатку, я думала, що дві пелюстки лампи мають завжди бути разом. Розділити їх мене попросили замовники, хоч я цього не хотіла, але зробила. Тоді я і зрозуміла, що це я так підсвідомо сумую за коханим, що складаю лампи парами. Так з’явились “Закохані”.

Chandeliers

In the collection are presented several variations of chandeliers. Standard lamps have 3 to 5 petals.

В колекції представлені різні варіації люстр. Базові лампи мають від 3 до 5 пелюсток.

Sconces

There are three types of wall lamps in the collection: large with two petals, medium with one large petal and small with a smaller petal.

В колекції є три види настінних ламп: велика з двома пелюстками, середня з одною великою пелюсткою та мала з меншою пелюсткою.

Materials and production

The lamps are made of organic-mineral material - clayp. It is based on plant fibers and marble dust. It is an ecological mixture that can be composted without harming the environment.
The petal elements are hollow. The material is poured into the forms of parts of the petals, then the formed elements are taken out and glued together. Metal, wooden and plywood elements are used for the bases of fixing the lamps.

Матеріали та виробництво

Лампи виготовлені з однойменного органічно-мінерального матеріалу - clayp. Його основою є рослинні волокна та мармуровий пил. Це екологічна суміш, яку можна компостувати без шкоди для довкілля.

Елементи-пелюстки є пустотілими. Матеріал заливають у форми частин пелюсток, потім виймають сформовані елементи і склеюють між собою. Для основ кріплення ламп використовують металеві, дерев’яні та фанерні елементи.
