LEDGE HOUSE - FULL CGI
Software: Autodesk 3ds Max, Chaos Corona, Quixel Megascan, Itoo Forest Pack, Adobe Photoshop
In this personal work, I wanted to create a reinterpretation of a shot by photographer Paul Warchol of the project called Ledge House by the Desai Chia Architecture studio based
 in New York, USA.

Starting from some drawings found on the web and with the help of photos of the exteriors and interiors, I modeled the structure of the project, the external details and some internal details.

Once the modeling and implementation phase was completed, I switched to lighting the scene created with an HDRI plus a series of Corona lights used to illuminate the interiors.
Unlike real photos, which were the basis for modeling and framing, I wanted to propose a different mood for the final render by choosing a daytime mood but as if it were a clear day in the middle of summer so as to accentuate the vegetation and its colors and make them stand out against the dark volume of the project.

As for the assets used to recreate the external context, I used Quixel Megascan for the ferns in the foreground and for the rocks and a series of Maxtree trees for the background.

The scene is full CGI.

As the last phase of the process, I worked on the Raw render in Adobe Photoshop with the help of a series of render elements in order to give more detail and a better quality to the materials of the project and to the whole scene.
