During this project within my animation course my task was to create an appealing character and animate a walk cycle that conveyed their personality. Before animating, I created a turnaround and expression sheet in order to get a grasp of the character design. I wanted to make a cat character who was relatively short who had a fondness for alternative fashion. When I got to the animation process, I decided to animate the character doing a catwalk or model walk while also challenging myself to include a slight head rotation. Overall, I feel that through the animation I captured the character's personality well. This project allowed me to get a good grasp on how to animate walk cycles, convey character emotion, and design a character.
