A first year project to design an instructional leaflet of how to do a task. I chose how to open a bottle of wine. The project proved challenging as many steps needed to be incorporated with graphic elements onto a single A4 page whilst still maintaining a simple method for the reader to follow. I took my own photography of someone doing the task to provide the step by step images. I felt by making the hands into line drawings, there was more contrast in the illustrations and a larger focus on the wine bottle itself. To accompany, the graphics, i used a traditional serif typeface. The finished product was a five-fold leaflet.
