Workshop "Laser cutting as a design tool."
El objetivo del taller fue de transmitir a los estudiantes las diferentes herramientas y técnicas construcivas disponibles a la hora de diseñar piezas y productos de fabicación por medio del corte láser de diferentes materiales. A partir de estos conocimientos, los participantes fueron capaces de utilizar la herramienta no sólo como metodo de producción sino incuso como herramienta para otorgar valor.
The objective of the workshop was to transmit to the students the different construction tools and techniques available when designing parts and manufacturing products through laser cutting of different materials. From this knowledge, the participants were able to use the tool not only as a production method but also as a tool to grant value.
Taller teórico y práctico donde se abordó desde el funcionamiento de la cortadora láser, los parámetros a tener en cuenta en el diseño de piezas y sus posibilidades deaplicación, posibles materiales a utilizar y las diferentes técnicas para tratarlos.
Theoretical and practical workshop where the operation of the laser cutter was addressed, the parameters to be taken into account in the design of parts and their application possibilities, possible materials to be used and the different techniques to treat them.
Guiamos a los particiantes para que puedan concretar un breve proyecto de diseño aplicando los conceptos vistos en el taller. Algunos de ellos pudieron iniciar su propio emprendimiento a partir de estos primeros prototipos funcionales.
We guide the participants so that they can carry out a brief design project applying the concepts seen in the workshop. Some of them were able to start their own venture based on these first functional prototypes.
