This guitar shape is now what is known as the Sunland Sundog. It's a modified telecaster body shape that's one of my personal favorites.

Everything you see other than the hardware was hand-made by me. 

Flame maple neck, rosewood fretboard, marblewood top and up-cycled redwood on the back. I was driving around with my friend in Antioch, TN and saw a pile of wood out by the road. We knocked on the door and found out it was redwood decking boards from their back porch and it was FREE for the taking!

As I reflect on this project, it was significant in many ways. I learned the importance of using recycled materials and it was my first step in designing my own unique body styles.
