Design Manifesto (Concept)

Done for my Typography II class at Kendall College of Art and Design. The assignment was to create a type layout for the First Things First: A Design Minifesto document. Written in 1964 and re-issued in 2000 it outlines why we as designers must move away from the constatant commericalism surrounding us and remember what we do is an art form as well as a fuctional tool. Stage I was meant to be purely fuctional, Stage II was meant to still be fuctional but have a sense of expression, and Stage III was meant to Freely express our concept and interpretation of the document.
