Digital Modernism

The all new, improved formula (digital) modernism. This NFT brings Malevich's iconic 1915 image kicking and screaming into the post-art 21st century world. Only four of these will ever exist and they represent the four Black Square abstract paintings made by Malevich during the first half of the 20th Century. This is the "zero point of (NFT) painting".
The all new, improved formula (digital) modernism. This NFT brings Malevich's iconic 1915 image kicking and screaming into the post-art 21st century world. Only one of these will ever exist and it represents the single iconic Red Square abstract painting made by Malevich. This is the "zero point of (NFT) painting".
The all new, improved formula (digital) modernism. This NFT brings an iconic 1960s image kicking and screaming into the post-art 21st century world. Only one of these will ever exist and it represents a single blue monochromatic painting made by Yves Klein in 1962, shortly before his death.
Edible art that can never be eaten. The traditional Japanese process of drying seaweed is similar to the paper making process used by many artists. Thus, this toasted nori square was destined to become a work of art. Light passing through the seaweed sheet enhances the green of this Color Field work. This NFT is part of a series of three different “Nori Square” studies. Each of the three NFTs are unique one-off pieces and will be the only work on this theme made by Dada Dot Dot.
“Big Red Sold” is a one of one NFT. The red “sold” dot marker convention confers legitimacy on an artwork, because it is a tangible demonstration of the commercial value of the artwork, i.e. it has been sold to someone who recognises its value. The “Sold” series of artworks are a playful exploration of meaning, content and the formality of pictorial space. The work challenges the definition of an artwork, inside and outside cyberspace, both on the blockchain and in the gallery.
