ZINE PROJECT
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
For this assignment, we had to create a zine about anything we wanted as long as we kept a theme. Details ( 8.5x11in, facing pages, parent pages with page numbers.) I chose dad jokes for my zine. I called my dad and cracked jokes with him for an hour to get the truest form of dad jokes. I wanted to keep my overall design simple and funny so I illustrated all of my drawings on Adobe Illustrator or my sketchbook. I also wanted to incorporate photos and thought it would be fun to mix illustrations with pictures I found from Pixabay. For my font, I wanted a scripted typeface that was lighthearted so I chose Tomarik Display for my title font and Moonblossom for my body text. I’m really happy with how the book came out overall and would like to do it again with different ideas!
