Community - Accountability
These are 2 incredibly important elements of life I have been blessed with in my friendship with Aaron. He and I some time ago decided to ask each other the hard questions - to be honest with each other so that we can stay tied to a foundation built on truth. We didn't want our lives, our families, our legacy, to be compromised.
So we would open the door to the dark rooms of our lives and shine a light - not giving darkness a place to live. There were good reports and less-so. But our response to each other as we look forward to the next day, the next opportunity, the next challenge was always "Stay Steadfast."

Aaron loves sneakers and was a collector for a time - he was really good at it and had some really cool pieces. That inspired the subject of the piece to be Jordan Brand shoe. The laces tied to nails struck into the ground represent holding fast to our values and convictions. Aaron and I share a lot of those values and convictions and he has encouraged me in a lot of ways to Stay Steadfast and not let the influences around me shake that foundation.
