Trash Mammals Pilot Animatic
In this project I wrote, storyboarded, and timed an animatic from my fictional cartoon, Trash Mammals. This was an exercise in storyboarding and story telling, and to introduce a project I plan on developing in the future. All frames and backgrounds were drawn by me.
Storyboards
For this project, I wanted to stretch my legs in storyboarding and storytelling. I kept the story simple to lay the groundwork for a cartoon that I would like to develop further.
Final Animatic
With voice talents courtesy of Jennifer Seward, Caleb Holstine, Jairo Flores, and myself, I timed my cleaned up storyboards into a two minute long animatic. I chose to do an animatic because it's closer to the career field I want to go into, storyboarding. I think the premise of the show and the basics of the character's relationships came through pretty well. The entirety of the animatic includes over 70 drawn frames, and grayscale backgrounds for establishing shots.
