This project was done in order to develop and demonstrate Adobe Illustrator skills. Mainly the the pen tool, shape builder tool, and gradient tool were used in the creation of this sea creature, "Fin". The project initially began with general sketches based of visual inspiration from various pre-existing sea creature concepts. 

Vector tracing after importing hand sketches into illustrator and preparing to utilize the shape builder tool in order to expose the creatures form. 

Final illustration after coloring, shading, and lighting effects using the gradient tool
