"holometabolous" explores the theater costume as a part and extension of the human body. the research process focused on how the costume interacts with body expression and movement. the goal of the project was to study the costume as an obstacle that can at the same time constrain and subordinate the performer's behavior, and give the performer the opportunity to explore new types of movement.
the project was inspired by oscar wilde's novel "the picture of dorian gray".
