For this project, I have chosen Jean Batten. Inspired as a teenager to become a pilot, Batten learnt to fly in England and during the 1930s she succeeded in breaking several world records in long-distance flying. This image of her and her plane show joyful energy and represents her achievements which encourages us through this image. To enhance the emotion of joy I added bright and vibrant colors. For example to show her royal and liberal energy, I have chosen to color her dress in purple. To make the image still feel like old, I have kept the plane color green as there were only few limited colors available during her time. My goal was to keep the image natural and realistic. I removed airport from the background to free up some space and to make her and the plane more focused.

Final Motion Video

To spine the propeller, first I made the propellers smart objects, copy and pasted them in a new layer and removed the original propeller. Then I selected transformation and rotate the propellers at equal durations.
