Project 2: MSJ-11213 Principles of Public Relations

Project Name: Broken Window Theory

Project Date: Spring (2019)

Project description: We tried making a poster where we could visualize the difference between the laws of three different countries and how it’s very relevant the crime rate of the following country. So, we chose the window to represent a table of contents and points we wanted to express.

Project justification: The prisons shouldn’t not for castigation but for exoneration, was our message and we tried our level best to articulate the message by giving logical information.
Why did you select this topic?

What was your role in this project?
I have communicated with my group members and the audience. I draw a picture which can express how our poster should look like. I interviewed some of the audience where I wanted to know about what they actually understood about our poster? After that maximum audience were told that they received our message clearly. Then I asked which side they liked or disliked. Most of the audience liked our poster but some said that it looked so artificial. I also asked the audience what kind of changes if we could do, would it be better? They suggested to me that if something we could make realistic or used our own picture that would be more beautiful.
What principles of PR did you use in this project?
Essentially, we used the RACE process. Subsequent to getting the topic first we discussed the topic then we divided our group members into four segments. Firstly, the research process was done by my two group members, after they showed the research information another group member made a PSD file poster then sent it to honorable Wafi Aziz Sattar sir. After that our faculty did some corrections and sent us. I communicated and interviewed some of the audience and they gave us their opinion. In evaluation we received all types of feedback about our poster.

Learning Outcomes and Self Reflection:
In this project I learned ways of communication with the public in different methods.
How problems can be show through a poster.
