For this project, the goal was to develop an illustration for a predefined newspaper. It was made with foam stamps, and the final image was composed in Adobe Photoshop. The article is about the play "The Night of the Iguana", that tells the story of a reverend that is forced to step away from his position because of an inappropriate relationship with a young woman. At the course of the story, he is tempted and fights his weaknesses for flesh and alcohol. In the illustration, the rope represents the reverend's breaking point and the tips of both sides represent his and a woman´s hands.
