CRAFT DOCUMENTATION (JAIPUR-GOTA PATTI)
Gota Patti - Gota work is a type of Indian embroidery that originated in Rajasthan, India. Gota embroidery uses the applique technique. Small pieces of zari ribbon are applied onto the fabric with the edges sewn down to create elaborate patterns.
Inspired from Princess Shahrzad, a character from the book of Arabian Nights. She reflects a strong and accomplished personality,a spirited woman, affronting her destiny in a lost world of elegance, seduction and romanticism.
The theme speaks about the sensuality, elegance and the distinct scent of every woman.
