'Coffee's in the air' Mural for Julius Meinl's 160Y Anniversary
The creation of this mural was commissioned by Julius Meinl for a street-art competition in 2022, commemorating their 160th anniversary. Held in Vienna, the event gathered talented artists from across Europe, who participated in the competition to exhibit and honor the rich coffee culture.
I wanted to encompass several essential elements: excellent coffee, the company of friends to savor it together, and a welcoming and cozy atmosphere.
Initially, I crafted a digital illustration to align perfectly with the final dimensions of the mural, measuring 4.5x3 meters.
Inspired by architecture and The Bauhaus movement, my choice was to depict coffee culture in our times and immediate future through geometric elements and minimalist design. I aimed to encapsulate the lively yet serene essence of the experience.
