The Project Yellow Light - Billboard Contest is a scholarship contest open to High School and College Students whose mission is to spread awareness of the dangers of texting and driving. Every year, they offer a $500 scholarship to students who win their contest in creating a billboard or commercial talking about their mission.

I created 3 versions of my submission for the billboard contest just in case the app BeReal is not allowed to use in advertisements. The idea was to create a design that looks like a phone notification similar to the "It's time to BeReal!" alert that is often sent out once a day in random times during the day. You take a photo of what you are currently doing and a selfie. It takes your attention away if you are driving, so I created an ad about the dangers of using the app when driving, which may lead to accidents.
