LET'S LIVE, LET'S NOT BE OUR "OBSTACLES": GUZAARISH

Is the only difference between life and death not being able to breathe or do you have to go under the ground to be dead? For the man, life was to live as if he were dead before he died, there was a huge obstacle, inactivity. He could breathe, he could see, he could hear, so he was alive, but that's not all about living. The story of a man paralyzed from head to toe and a devoted woman.
What is the obstacle? In a sense, it is anything that prevents something from happening. So it's not just something tangible and physical. It is an abstract and imaginary thing, that is, there are obstacles created by our minds. So what was Ethan's obstacle? Did Sofia put a barrier on herself because she was attached to Ethan, or was this living for her? Was it all their choice or compulsion?
Guzaarish is an Indian movie starring famous actors Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan. Ethan is a paralyzed former magician, while Sofia is his nurse who has dedicated her life to taking care of him. This article is about the close bond between the two and the obstacles in their lives.
The first scene of the movie almost reveals the meaning of the woman in the life of the man; In the dark room, the man is lying on the bed, the woman comes, opens the curtains and lights up. And the man is lifted from his bed, shaved, his teeth brushed, his hair washed, his food fed. Maybe Sofia does many things for Ethan that most of us don't do on a regular basis. In fact, we learn that Ethan, who makes a radio show despite his obstacles, is a magician through a miracle that occurred as a result of an old conversation with an audience. You don't need to do magic to be a magician.
It's like nothing is stopping Ethan, everything in his life is going well, at least we think so. Until we learn of his euthanasia decision. Devyani, her friend and also her lawyer, throws the flowers she brought and leaves. Just like us, he was disappointed. And his comrade of 12 years, Sofia, learned everything from the newspaper. Everyone gets angry at Ethan; her doctor, Sofia and the people of India. But Ethan can't be mad at anyone.
Ethan is a great magician and one day when he was playing his biggest show, an accident that happened to him brought him to where he is now.
Euthanasia has now turned into an Ethanazi project. Living is a right, a blessing, both in religion and in law.
Ethan's soul is always full of dreams. He lives for a moment, he is on a beach in his wheelchair, he feels the sea at his feet, but in his dreams he is walking towards the sea. Sometimes in the past, he did magic tricks as if he was dreaming or dancing. Ethan's life oscillates between the reality he can't move, and a beautiful past and dreams. Are beautiful dreams and a beautiful past enough to survive? To survive and to live… Is it our right to die like to live?
In Ethan's words, is it better not to live than to "live your life at the mercy of machines"? If your life feels like it's not in your hands, is there any point in living? Life depends on many choices as well as many conditions. No choice we make is completely free, it has been formed according to the conditions of the life we live in. Being born or dying is out of our hands.
How would you view Ethan's thinking, think Zindagi looking for the radio, and Ethan wants you to decide for him between "Ethanazi and life". what would you say? Dear reader, I leave you with questions.
It is in our hands to live and Let's Live, Unhindered. The only obstacle is ourselves. I wish you a good life, dear reader.
