This is an educational project created by me as a semester work in the subjects of book illustration, in the fourth year of the art academy. At the beginning of the work, our group was given texts for future children's books by the publishing house and we could illustrate them in any way we wanted. The only condition was that the illustrations must be black and white. I chose children's poems for myself.
My work was among those that the publisher chose to release in print. But the black-and-white layout of the book did not seem interesting to me, so I decided to make another version of this book the way I would like it to be. I made bright colored but minimalistic pictures to complement the main illustrations. I am satisfied with my result and hope that I will be able to make more similar books for children.
