Grandpa's Bluegrass Posters
Hand illustrated posters for a bluegrass show in Northern Illinois. Limited run.

My great-grandfather is referred to in some circles as the "Godfather of Northern Illinois Bluegrass." The man is still playing to this day, even in his 90s, and has a large fan base and following. He taught me to play guitar and any time one of us visits the other we make it a point to play together. It's one of my fondest memories of my youth and one of my favorite things to do today. He deserved some kickin' posters, and I was more than happy to oblige. I based everything around the same layout and did a folksy illustration of four instruments most associated with the bluegrass sound.
