CoSign Project - Kungfood AmerAsia

This is one of three options I created for the Covington CoSign project, and more specifically Kungfood AmerAsia. The business detailed to me that he wanted it to be chinese and be exciting and should reflect some aspect of Kung Fu with food. This one was actually my favorite of the three because of it's relative simplicity.
Here is the second of the options. This one in my opinion was a little bit more tame, but did communicate. It did miss the Kung Fu element in my opinion.
Here's the third of the three choices and the one that the owner picked to go further in the process.
This is 1 of 4 refined choices given to the owner for critique and analysis. These came into themselves through suggested  aesthetics like 80's Chinatown. The owner also loved the idea of Samurai Jack and modern Nintendo art.

He also asked that Incorporate something from the kitchen, and upon exploring what I found best was the Chinese butcher knife which is where I got the shape of the container holding the type. This container also works well as a directional device to bring people in the restaurant.
This is the second of the four refined concepts.

These last two are the 2d versions of the finals I turned in with the proposal. I had to use a use a more limited amount of colors because of the impending Covington signage point system that may occur during the fabrication stage of the project. Overall, I'm very happy with the project and the selections I chose to enter.
This is the other 2d mockup option.
