When the famous Keg&Jock closed its doors it was time for the management team to take on an even bigger, more popular venture to anchor Nelspruit's nightlife and social scene. Ron was approached to suggest a name and logo for their restaurant, but it soon became apparent that they had to bear more in mind than just a logo - and soon the team were faced with a new name for their development, as well as a harmonious marriage of colonial style with modern flair. The Jock & Java was born, and for many years it remained unaltered in its appearance and reputation for being the best spot to hang out when in Nelspruit.
