Carlisle Area School District Football Stadium
Lead design and construction services to realize substantial renovations and additions to the existing football stadium. Scope included review and analysis of the existing bleacher structure; redesign of the lateral resisting system to accommodate addition of usable space below the bleachers; addition of a score board and several small buildings; refurbishing and painting of bleachers and other accessory items within the stadium; addition of a new press box atop the home field; addition of handicap accessible seating and ramps at the lower level of the bleachers; re-purposing of existing garages and miscellaneous usable space below the bleachers; and addition of two snack bars below the bleachers. Portions of this project were created in Revit Structure to give the client an accurate rendering of the finished project. As the lead on the project, Revit turned out to be an invaluable tool to communicate our design intent.
