Weekly Design Challenge - Town Stickers

WEEKLY DESIGN CHALLENGE #1
PROMPT: Create a sticker for your hometown using only three colors.

DESIGN RESEARCH: North Wales is the center of an area settled by Welsh immigrants. While it was originally settled by Europeans in the early 1700s, it peaked in importance during the mid-1800s when the North Pennsylvania Railroad connected the town to Philadelphia and Bethlehem. Today, the area is still serviced by SEPTA (SouthEastern Pennsylvania Transportation Association) maintains it's small town charm.
DESIGN #1 - SEPTA
The train station in North Wales is right in the center of town, playing an important role in the town life. It connects folks directly to Philadelphia, for commuting and for fun. This logo plays off the colors and logo of SEPTA to create a unique town sticker.
DESIGN #2 - PA Railroad
The historic Northern Pennsylvania Railroad is what put North Wales on the map. While no logo for the company existed, the Pennsylvania Railroad (made famous by Monopoly) had a unique, Pennsylvania-themed logo. Keeping the central look of the Keystone, the typography was updated along with a revised color scheme.
DESIGN #3 - WALES TO PENNSYLVANIA
To pay homage to the original Welsh settlers, this sticker pulls in the Welsh national colors in addition to an outline of the famed Welsh Dragon. It also celebrates the keystone and the official incorporation date of North Wales Borough.
