The intersection of art and technology - Video Games

Video games require a lot of processing power because they are intricate programmes. Several interactive elements must be computed and "shown" on the screen (i.e., rendered) in real-time (i.e., the user must be able to view the results as soon as they enter their command).

Video games are unique in that they require such a high level of real-time interaction. Since concept art typically has high resolution, fidelity, and detail, it is exceedingly challenging to render and modify in real-time.
