The Islamic Corporation for the Development of the private sector (ICD/ICDps) created a competition to revamp their existing logo with specific guidelines regarding the design elements and being part of the IsDB Group.

Four words—"Solidarity," "Entrepreneurship," "Nurture," and "Prosperity"—form the basis of the new ICD/ICDps logo concept. As part of a larger organisation in IsDB, these keywords stand in for the organisation's goals and ideals.

The logo form structure was inspired by the decorative traditions of Islamic architecture, which combine floral and geometric motifs.

As one of the primary design aspects of the IsDB logo, the hexagons in its current form symbolise the cooperation (Solidarity) of many private sector (Entrepreneurship) organisations operating under the ICD to design the central floral+geometric form adornment.

The Axis is made up of Islamic nations and societies around the globe (Member States). from Mozambique to Kazakhstan, Indonesia to Suriname. The Axis is depicted as an abstract of date palm tree leaves, symbolising not only Islam but also growth (where the hexagons unite under), nurture (of entrepreneurs), and success (flowering and producing dates).

Finally, the globe figure, Earth is a common feature in the works of the IsDB group companies identity, thanks to the circular motion of the hexagons and the axis. (connotation of a spherical shape).
