Client: Local Wedding
Worked with client to create illustrated assets for their Save the Date and wedding venue signs. They sent me a few images to work with after looking at some examples of my previous work in Illustrator and really appreciated the detail of the contours combined with the simplicity of the color palette.
I chose to remove the text and locations on all images for privacy, only focusing on illustrated assets.
When only using 4 or 5 colors I usually consider 'white' and 'black' as free pigments. I begin by picking out the most important color contours on the image to preserve the most detail, and make small exceptions when needed to keep the color total minimal.
