FUTURA TYPEFACE POSTER
The following poster was created during a typography course. The task was to select a font and make a poster that consisted of the name, a brief paragph of basic information about the font, the year it was created, and to diaplay the alphabet in the chosen font.
I selected Futura because The Bauhaus is one of my greatest inspirations.
I attempted to display the font comtemporarly; because Futura was the "future" of fonts during the early 1900s.
Also, it was part of the modernism phase in art history.
