The project brief was to develop a wearable art getting inspired by any artist or designers and create a story with your design ideology, I choose Nandalal Bose works as my inspiration for the designs.
I have dyed the (cotton) sari with sappan wood and madder root to achieve the pastel pink shade, the ink is made of henna, vinegar, alum and ferrous sulphate which gives a sage green color.
